Terrific Te Reo Weather Animation

Over the past couple of Fridays, we have been working on our weather scratch animation.

We had to use the words in Maori and ask our people on the animation how the weather was, we used our own voice to say the words for example "Kei Te Pehea" which means hows the weather? you could reply with "Kei Te Paki" It's fine. Have you ever used Scratch before?

Hey everyone, during maths time we have been learning about statistics. We had to create a business and make a logo and an advertisement. I'm selling cupcakes because they are easy to make, ingredients are good and most important they taste so good. I always make them from scratch and to top it off I add buttercream icing and sprinkles, talking about them makes me so hungry. Do you like baking if so what do you like to bake?

Hello bloggers! during class in toroa, we had to make a canva all about us. First, we started off with our names and I added a picture that kind of looks likes me. On the next page, I showed you all of my animals 1 dog and 3 cats ( i hope you like the picture of the dog!) On the last page, I told you all of the things that I like baking, Animals and love to hang out with my friends! Have you ever used canva before if so could you give me some tips on how I could come better at it!

Kiora! Each year in toroa we start off with a self-portrait about ourselves, this year we did a lego man describing ourself based on our faces/hair/outfits. The reason I chose to do that type of face is that I'm super crazy I like to have fun and I just feel like poking the tongue out really describes me! Have you ever done a self-portrait before?

Hello today in class we did a pepeha! what is a pepeha you ask

? well I am glad you asked. A pepeha is something about yourself your mountain river but instead of English, it's in Maori! Have you ever done a pepeha before?

 

 

Hello Bloggers! Last week my hub went to wainui camp! we did heaps of fun activities, my favourites were coasteering and kayaking. In my slide i wrote about what we did at kayaking and coasteering, kayaking we were in 2 different groups, group 1 was for the people who were going in buddys and group 2 was for the people who wanted to go by themselfs i was in group 1 cause i had a buddy.

For coasteering we were in groups again group 1 and group 2. Have you ever jumped of rocks into the ocean? Have you ever been kayaking before?

My Amazon Rainforest Civilisation

 

Kia ora, During inquiry time we have been building civilisations we rotated around our teachers learning about different places each student got to pick what civilisation they wanted to start creating. I chose the amazon rainforest, We went on onto Minecraft Education-edition and started to build our houses of the wood we can find. We got natural resources we could find in our civilisations
